Part of my ongoing dog portrait series inspired by mythology, character, and emotional archetypes.

Although the title refers to Orpheus, this painting is not a literal illustration of the myth. Instead, it explores a quieter feeling — tenderness, vulnerability, and the presence of something almost disappearing before your eyes.

The elongated silhouette of the borzoi, painted with loose expressive brushstrokes, emerges against a vivid pink background. The contrast between the decorative frame and the soft, luminous portrait creates a dialogue between bold contemporary aesthetics and intimacy.
