This Cactus on orange background is symbolic of a free and independent spirit. Made on a deserted beach in Bulgaria in 2018, the work breathes freshness through its many colors and the technique of juxtaposition. Virtosu chose to experiment through this painting and let more of the right brain work - a creation of intuition and emotion rather than reason, and it shows.

The thick paint dabs and vibrated surfaces of the cactus immediately convey the feeling of a heartfelt painting.
