A playful figure balancing on a big red ball.

I like the simple, slightly awkward pose of this character — he looks as if he is trying to keep his balance, but is not taking it too seriously. The coloured circles on his clothes add to the playful feeling of the piece.

Handmade in white clay and finished with coloured slips and glazes. The surface is intentionally textured and slightly uneven, keeping the handmade character of the sculpture.
