This is my 5th artwork out of 5, Olive series. I absolutely treasure the meaning behind Olive branch.
This painting is a mix of impasto and impressionism done with palette knife and heavy brushstrokes. There is definitely texture to this artwork.

Perhaps the most well-known symbolic connotation for the olive is peace. The olive tree, or more specifically an olive branch, is a symbol of peace and friendship dating back to ancient Greek mythology.

This oil painting is done on canvas panel and measures 8x10” comes unframed.

Varnished .
