Original artwork description:

What you see in these artworks, which I have been doing for a few years, are not, for the most part, "real" landscapes. They are what I call "Dream Landscapes", that is, not an exact copy of a specific place, but the sensation that nature transmits to me, when seeing it live or, for example, learning from other works of art, from landscape painters, surfing the internet, looking through photos in magazines, listening to music, etc., and later expressing it in a symbolic way.
This artwork belongs to a new series called "Natural Flags". They are landscapes of more or less abstract shapes on a white background because it represents a dawn, a new way of seeing things, life.
The artwork is titled “Often a bird” and it is a symbolic landscape, that is, it is and is not a landscape.
As the title indicates, the artwork speaks of that sensation, or perhaps an innate but dormant sense, that human beings have.
That is why in this landscape we see trees, fields and bushes from an aerial perspective, as well as clouds and other elements, along with shapes that look like magnetic musical or film tapes, which remind us, more than to the shapes of the birds, to their flight, and the set of ribbons could be the different phases of a bird that takes flight.
Perhaps one of the objectives, within the mission of art, is to escape mentally and that is what we do when reading a book, when listening to a record, when entering a painting, etc. Take a trip to return renewed, with more strength.
It has painted edges, so there is no frame needed, but it´s recommended.

Materials used:

Acrylic
