"Off To The Races" is a detailed botanical watercolor of a cluster of pink anemones on green stems on a background of Mary Lyn's unique blue/brown/purple contrast blend.
Originals are painted on 400# archival cotton paper with Daniel Smith & Holbein professional watercolor paints.
Backgrounds are not black but a combinations of blues browns and purples to envelop the image, pushing it towards the viewer
