The ocean with all its shades and deepths is reflected in this work. The glaze technique on a large format was initially created very intuitively and then Switches to technical skill. This multi-layered work with countless glazes and haptic structures was an intense painterly process. It took a lot of patience with the long drying times.
The ability to feel and the emotionality are important prerequisites, in addition, of course, manual skills and imagination are required.
Irene Gärtner finds Inspiration in nature and while traveling. The picture should cast a spell over the viewer, convey dynamic associations and stimulate his imagination.
The ocean 1 work can also be combined well with Ocean 2. Together they result in a large-format, dynamic work.
