Painted on-site in the artist's neighborhood in Minneapolis, MN. Features an oak tree with a full, round shape and long branches draped with subtly shaded and richly colored leaves. The foliage is predominantly burgundy, with accents of orange, peach, and rose. Branches at the bottom center and right display streaks of gold, while the bottom left displays the last touches of remaining green.
Painted in oil, with iridescent oil, over casein on board. The soft, watery effects in the background grass and sky are painted with matte-textured casein paint, which contrasts with the thicker oil paint of the foliage. The texture of the foliage was created with palette knife. Framed in a 3.5" wide wood frame with a gold finish, ornate moulding, and a black velvet inner edge. May be purchased unframed by request.
