No problem, babe (2025) Original Acrylic Painting by Jutta Widrinsky

The title of this painting is like a life motto: No problem, babe! It is one of my paintings that radiates a great deal of positivity. Organic shapes are scattered carefree across a square metre of canvas in light, predominantly pastel colours.

Originally, the painting had a rectangular format. I actually let it sink in for several months before I realised that the part of the canvas that was then at the top had no decisive influence on the overall impression of the painting. That’s why I cropped it down to a square. A decision I haven’t regretted. Quite the opposite: ‘No problem, babe!’ has gained in expressiveness as a result of the change and has risen to join the ranks of my favourite paintings.
