Nexus II is a mixed media digital photomontage that reimagines the contemporary London skyline as a layered network of architecture, memory, and human movement. The faceted geometry of the Gherkin and the angular forms of surrounding high-rise buildings are fragmented and reconstructed through overlapping textures, diagrams, maps, and gestural marks. Blurred figures move across the lower edge of the composition, suggesting the constant flow of people through systems of infrastructure and information. Combining photographic elements with digital collage and mixed media processes, the work explores how iconic architecture becomes both a symbol of connection and a structure of control within the evolving urban landscape.
