Hi,
This work is a colourist piece depicting a Manhattan street scene. I'm always inspired by Americana and New York inparticular. I love the modern bright lights of Times Square making a contrast with the crumbling tarmac surface.
The darkened figure crossing the street gives the scene depth and drama.
