I painted Nature 310 as a diptych — two panels that breathe independently but were always meant to exist in the same space. Each one holds its own world: a dense indigo core that slowly releases into white, the forms never quite resolved, always in the act of becoming. Together, they create a rhythm — a visual breath between two states of the same organic impulse. I begin each panel by pouring a thick layer of gesso onto the canvas, building relief and surface memory. Fluid ink is then allowed to flow and pool freely, finding its own edges. Layers of acrylic, oil and watercolour deepen the tonal range, moving between saturated indigo-black and translucent, almost luminous white. The result is a surface with real physical depth that rewards close looking. Two panels, each 100 × 160 cm (overall 200 × 160 cm), stretched on solid wooden frames with carefully finished 4 cm (1.5") deep edges — no frame required. Arrives ready to hang, packed individually with maximum protection. Signed on the back. Certificate of authenticity included. Sold as a set.
