I created Nature 235 seeking to capture the quiet tension between expansion and stillness — that moment when a form seems to breathe outward without breaking.
For me, abstract painting is a dialogue with materials. I let the ink and water find their own path across the gesso ground, and I follow — guiding, not controlling.
I begin with a thick layer of textured gesso to build relief and depth. I then let fluid ink and water merge freely, creating these ethereal organic forms that suggest botanical growth or the slow movement of deep water. Layers of acrylic are added to fix and deepen the composition, playing on contrasting matte and lustrous finishes.
Stretched on a solid wooden frame with carefully finished 4 cm (1.5") deep edges — no frame needed. The work arrives ready to hang, signed on the back, with a certificate of authenticity. Packed with maximum protection for safe international shipping.
