I created this piece seeking to capture the quiet tension of natural expansion — the moment a form blooms outward, mineral and fragile at once. For me, abstract painting is a dialogue with materials: I let the ink and water find their own path, and I follow.
I begin with a thick layer of gesso to build texture and relief. I then let ink and water merge freely, creating these ethereal organic forms. Layers of acrylic are added to fix and deepen the composition, contrasting matte and lustrous finishes. The blue and grey tones emerged from the materials themselves — guided, not imposed.
Painted on professional-grade canvas and shipped rolled in a protective tube for maximum safety during transit. Once stretched and mounted on a frame by your local framer, the work is ready to display. Signed on the back, with a certificate of authenticity. Carefully packaged for safe international shipping.
