Title: N°288

Size: 30x30x2 cm
Year: 2026

Nos. 285–288 constitute a cohesive series informed by the atmospheric and perceptual qualities of spring — the re-emergence of light, the restrained vitality of plant life, and the gradual awakening of the natural world following a period of dormancy.

Through the use of layered textures, fluid gestural marks, and luminous chromatic interventions, the works seek to articulate the transient energy associated with processes of growth and renewal. A palette of vivid neon greens, pinks, violets, and soft whites is modulated by the sensation of light filtering through foliage and blossoms, producing visual impressions that oscillate between the organic and the oneiric.

Rather than representing a fixed landscape, the paintings engage with fragmentary impressions of memory, sensation, and movement, evoking the experiential conditions of spring and the dynamics of natural transformation. While each work maintains an autonomous presence, the series is conceived as a cumulative visual field, establishing a rhythmic continuity when presented as a whole.
