‘My Garden’ is a modern floral painting inspired by the beauty, energy and quiet poetry of nature. I didn’t want to depict the garden literally, but rather the feeling of being surrounded by flowers, light and living forms. It is a private place of tranquillity, memories and renewal, an invitation to pause, take a breath and enter a more personal inner landscape.
Large blue leaves form a delicate canopy over a radiant garden full of flowers and organic shapes. Rich layers of colour, expressive brushstrokes and a subtle texture evoke a sense of movement, as if a gentle breeze were rustling amongst the plants.
‘My Garden’ is part of my ongoing exploration of the relationship between nature, emotions and abstraction.
