Figurative works are actually a rare exception for the artist. But this highly abstracted head had long been present in the artist's imagination. Until he got his hands on a piece of marble that already had the proportions of an abstract head. The head should express the musical interest of the artist and a close connection to music in general. He has no eyes. You don't miss them either. The mouth seems to be singing. On the one hand, an ear is designed in an almost naturalistic way, on the other hand, an abstract structure is reminiscent of a note. In some passages of the otherwise brightly polished surface, the structure of the chisel has remained, over which it was only lightly ground. The stone sculpture is also haptically interesting. She is standing on a dark block of stone. On request, other options can also be realized, such as: a larger block, wood, a stone of a different color.
