Mr Eye

I like artworks that don’t try to prove anything.

This figure stands in the middle of a desert beneath a sky that seems endless. A flower replaces the face, and a single eye looks out from its center. It sounds strange, but sometimes a person’s inner world feels exactly like that: a collection of things that shouldn’t belong together and somehow still do.

I didn’t create a story for this piece. I assembled it the way a memory forms: a fragment of a mood, a random image, a color that stayed with me. Only afterward did those elements begin to speak to each other.

Maybe that’s why I love collage. It reminds me that meaning doesn’t always come first. Sometimes it arrives later.
