Mountain Light (2026) Original Oil Painting by Howard Sills

Inspired by the majestic Swiss Alps, this painting is part of a series influenced by Norwegian artist Ørnulf Opdahl.

Crafted using premium Old Holland and Winsor & Newton Artists' oil paints, the piece features kiln-dried sand bound directly into the paint layers, creating a rich, tactile texture. The 10 x 12 in work is executed on a fully archival, acid-free canvas panel with maximum permanence and lightfastness.

Signed on the reverse, the artwork includes a Certificate of Authenticity. It will be packaged following the highest industry standard guidelines, and shipped via a fully tracked, signed-for courier service.
