mountain flow VII (2026) Original Wood Sculpture by Manfred Hellweger

119 x 107.8 x 8cm

£4,971.64

mountain flow VII combines the characteristic silhouette of a mountain landscape with a dynamic, vertically structured design language. Numerous elements made of larch and lime wood are arranged to form a compact mountain formation, whose varying lengths create a flowing downward movement.
The natural grain and colouring of the woods lend the work a warm, organic presence. Narrow gaps emerge between the individual elements, creating depth and enhancing the interplay of light and shadow. The clear mountain silhouette forms a tranquil counterpoint to the dynamic underside.
As in many of the artist’s works, the focus here is on an exploration of nature, change and the constant flow of life. The mountain form evokes permanence and durability, whilst the dissolving elements simultaneously symbolise movement, transformation and transience.
Thanks to the steel tubular section integrated into the rear, the sculpture is designed for stable and virtually invisible wall mounting.
