Moon road (2026) Original Oil Painting by Rory Mitchell
30 x 30 x 2cm (unframed) / 30 x 30cm (actual image size)
£552.58
Original artwork description
‘Moon road’ describes the treacherous nature of existence.
A country road winds its way up a mountain side. The perils of this route are in sharp contrast to the serenity of the distant landscape and the reassuring glow of the moon.
The piece could simply depict a physical journey, where the bidding of the natural world, as well as the laws of physics, hang heavily over any progress that we might make.
Alternatively, the journey could well be considered a metaphor. A metaphor for our path through life, where we persist to find some peace of mind.
