Inspired by the incredible beauty and history of this beloved Paris hill, Montmartre I is capturing a tiny street with steps. The colors are applied painterly and free in the spirit of the city. The composition is focusing on the colorful houses with attention to typical Parisian details. Painted at the end of August, it is a celebration of the warmth and greenery of the summer which soon will be transformed by the fall. Expressive, contemporary decorative piece, part of a diptych, it can be displayed individually or with its mate Montmartre I. Ready to hang, sides painted in neutral brown.
