Original artwork description
"Montagne blu" brings Antonino Puliafico’s gestural approach to trees, vegetation and filtered light into an original oil painting on canvas. Measuring 110 × 90 cm and dated 2022, the work balances immediate visual impact with close-range surface detail.
Material presence is essential: layered colour and expressive mark-making gives the work a layered surface in which gesture and colour remain clearly visible. A blue palette contributes to the work’s chromatic rhythm.
Blue Mountains is a work of art that captures the essence of nature in a unique and fascinating perspective. The artist has skillfully used the technique of oil on canvas to create an image that combines familiar elements such as trees, mountains and roads into a fascinating and mysterious composition.
The result is a one-of-a-kind work with a strong physical presence, conceived for collectors drawn to contemporary Italian painting and expressive colour.
For shipping, the canvas is carefully protected and sent in a heavy-duty tube with tracking, together with a Certificate of Authenticity.
