Memory Wind (2026) Original Gouache Painting by Anna Dyachuk

70 x 100cm (unframed)

£1,428.48

Memory Wind explores the elusive nature of memory — how people, places and moments from our past continue to live within us, constantly changing their shapes.

Faces and figures emerge from flowing, intertwined forms, appearing and disappearing like fragments of a half-remembered dream. Some seem to belong to the past, others to a world that has never quite existed. They overlap, dissolve and transform, carried by an invisible movement that connects them all.

Like the wind, memory cannot be held still. It moves through us, sometimes gently, sometimes unexpectedly, bringing back something we thought was lost — or leaving us with a feeling whose origin we can no longer trace.

Created intuitively through translucent layers of gouache, the painting invites the viewer to discover their own images and associations within its shifting forms.
