Memory Clay (2025) Original Mixed-media Painting by Kira K. Sadian

Memory of Clay is a tactile painting-artifact that embodies the idea of ancient ceramics, excavated by time and carefully preserved in a modern interior. The organic texture of clay and paint creates the effect of an authentic fresco or mural. This work will harmoniously fit into a space in the style of organic modern, wabi-sabi or Japandi, adding a sense of handicraft, warm imperfection and a deep connection with nature to the interior.
