The painting “Masks off” was created in 2019. It is one of a series of works "Imprint".
For the first time, the painting was exhibited at the artist's personal exhibition "Imprint" in Moscow in 2020.
Emoji is a mask behind which we hide our feelings, an integral part of modern correspondence.
We cover our feelings with a smile in spite of what is happening in the soul.
The work consists of 1159 keyboard keys.
Each key is original and has not been repainted. The emoji keys were purchased specifically for this job.
