£225

An impressionist English landscape painting inspired by the hills and moorland scenery surrounding Masham moor in North Yorkshire, England
The painting uses warm blues , purples and earthy greens, ochres and muted yellows across the hills and foreground, creating a gentle, late-summer or early-autumn feeling. The distant landscape is simplified and softly defined, allowing the eye to settle on the distinctive profile of the hills.

Above the hills, a dramatic, cloud-filled sky occupies much of the composition. Broad areas of pale blue with darker purple , heavier clouds, giving the scene a sense of changing weather and atmospheric depth.

Painted with a palette knife using quality artists paints on a small square format 8" x 8" (20 x 20cm) canvas, with a varnish finish and white square profile wooden frame with cord ready to hang.
Please note the frame may differ slightly to the one shown due to availability.

Materials used:

acrylic on canvas, varnish, and white wood frame
