I had visited Colorado, USA sometime ago and this is done after a visit to Maroon Bells, Aspen, Colorado. Have done a plein air too on the spot which I have posted here.

This impressionistic watercolor landscape painting captures the beauty and grandeur of the Maroon Bells, two iconic peaks in the Elk Mountains of Colorado. The painting is done in a loose, expressive style, with soft washes of color and delicate brushstrokes. I have used a variety of blues and greens to depict the lush alpine meadows and forests surrounding the Maroon Bells. The peaks themselves are rendered in shades of red and orange, their jagged silhouettes contrasting with the soft clouds in the sky.

I was so impressed with the beauty of the place Maroon Bells, Colorado I had to do it. The painting invites viewers to experience the beauty of the Maroon Bells through my eyes. It is a celebration of the natural world and its ability to inspire and awe us.
