An iconic image of an iconic 20th century star. Arguably one of the most recognisable and famous faces of 1950s and 60s America. More than sixty years since her death she still remains just as iconic. This portrait is a celebration of a young Marilyn Monroe.

As a portrait the painted surface is quite smooth yet intricately painted with an abundance of fine detail. With a specifically strong magenta background specifically chosen, together with Viva Magenta 18-750 being the 2023´pantone colour´ being ideally suited to her skin tones.
