Manhattan Bridge Photograph by Basel Almisshal

76.2 x 76.2 x 0.25cm (unframed) / 76.2 x 76.2cm (actual image size)

£701.33

The Manhattan Bridge seen from below, where its steel becomes a cathedral of rivets and cables. I photographed the structure at the point where all its lines converge, so the engineering reads as pure pattern: truss against truss, cable against sky.

Bridges are architecture at its most honest. Nothing here is decorative; every member carries load, and the beauty comes entirely from the logic of the forces. Standing under a century-old span like this one, you feel the confidence of the engineers who drew it by hand.

This is a museum-quality giclee print on archival fine art paper, made from the original high-resolution file, signed and numbered with a certificate of authenticity. Each print is produced to exhibition standard and shipped rolled in a protective tube.

Materials used:

Archival pigment print (giclee) on museum-grade fine art paper
