The years pass, although the beauty of Malenets Lake remains unchanged. In the heart of Russian nature, three ancient mansions found their place, the residence and the homeland of famous Russian families, the ancestors of Alexander Pushkin, the world-famous Russian poet. He used to walk there, observing the waters of Malenets lake, and distant hills, and the fragile beauty of life, getting his inspiration and restoration in this sanctuary of nature. This famous place attracts people from all around the world and was depicted on canvases of many outstanding artists, such as Andrei Mylnikov. I was incredibly happy to spend there several weeks working on canvases, and I am especially glad about this one, which displays lyricism and the might beauty of the Russian land.
