Macromnia (2026) Original Gouache Painting by Anna Dyachuk

70 x 100cm (unframed)

£1,714.36

Macromnia emerged intuitively, without a predetermined image. Its layered forms seem to grow, divide and reconnect, creating something that exists somewhere between a figure, a living organism and an unknown landscape.
There is a sense of different worlds overlapping within the same form — fragments appearing, dissolving and passing into one another. The image remains deliberately unresolved: it can feel familiar for a moment and then become something entirely different.
Painted in translucent and opaque layers of gouache, Macromnia is an exploration of transformation, perception and the strange forms that can emerge when an image is allowed to reveal itself rather than being planned.
