Part of an ongoing visual research into the decontextualization of everyday elements, this photograph transforms ordinary incandescent sources into abstract, sculptural forms of pure energy. Through a deliberate interplay of motion blur and darkness, the image transcends its physical origin to become a graphic sign suspended in time - evoking the quiet atmosphere of a cinematic frame from an unfilmed noir.
