I was inspired to create this work by the wild cacti on the coast of the Gulf of Thailand. I imagined and painted in this work the figure of a naked young man as an image of the harmony of the beauty of the male body and nature. He, like a lonely Robinson, found himself on an uninhabited island and sat down on this stone to dream a little and bask in the sun.
