The wild beauty of the Cornish coastline is a subject I return to again and again, this time capturing The Lizard Point, on the footpath from Coverack. A Cornish Chough perches on a craggy outcrop looking out toward the dramatic coastline and a shimmering, misty sea, with The Lizard Point stretching out into the horizon. My work focuses on creating a powerful mood using subtle colors and tones, fusing abstraction and realism to capture the true essence of the landscape.

This painting is created on rolled canvas and will arrive un-stretched and unframed. Take the canvas to a local professional framer to be wrapped and stretched onto standard 1.5-inch wooden stretcher bars for a modern, clean, frameless look. Alternatively, have it stretched and set into a wooden tray frame or floating frame to add a contemporary border that showcases the textured paint right up to the edge.
