We all have thoughts that just won't go away, some of them are venomous thoughts, some are beautiful memories, in some cases its romantic feelings that are bigger than life itself, a love that has no end beyond the relationships.
Sculpture is one of the best ways to bring those thoughts to life. As a sculptor, clay gives me the feeling of being closer to the heart because its a process that involves my bare hands.
I could have taken this piece the mythological route, void of any color and stuck in the same time as the ancient Greek paintings, but the color brings the vibrancy and the contrast between the skull and the snake, two different souls intertwined forever.
This is Love.
