Listening (2026) Bronze sculpture by Nerijus Kisielius

16.51 x 17.78 x 16.51cm

£941.44

"Listening" is a poetic, surreal exploration from the artist's acclaimed "Handscapes" series. This original abstract bronze sculpture masterfully bridges architectural forms with the invisible rhythms of nature. Depicting a minimalist house that organically extends into a horn-like, gramophone shape, the artwork visualizes a home deeply attuned to its surroundings—symbolically capturing the whispers of trees, wind, and the earth itself.
Handcrafted from scratch using the traditional centuries-old lost-wax casting method (cire perdue) inside the artist's private foundry, the sculpture undergoes a meticulous 1200°C furnace transformation. The raw, tactile metal surface intentionally preserves rough tool footprints, adding an expressive, human element to the heavy bronze. Mounted on a premium marble base and finished with a dark patina, this weather-resistant piece serves as an intellectual centerpiece for luxury interior galleries or outdoor spaces.
