Light on Water (2026) Original Watercolour by Oksana Shvachka

57 x 76 x 0.1cm / 51.7 x 70.7cm (actual image size)

£633.33

Original artwork description:

This work is part of Oksana Shvachka’s States of Water series, exploring water as a space where light, time, and inner experience meet.

The horizon creates a quiet boundary between sea and sky, while sunlight dissolves across the surface of the water in fleeting reflections. The scene holds a moment of stillness — one that exists only briefly before light, color, and movement change again.

For Oksana, painting water is a meditative process of observation and immersion. Through transparent layers and fluid watercolor marks, she seeks to capture not only what the eye sees, but the feeling of being present within that moment: calm, open, and suspended between sky and water.
