Original artwork description
Liberation is part of my ongoing series Transparent Borders.
Created on architectural tempered glass with 32,000 crystals and sculptural acrylic elements. A female figure seems to dissolve into the light, releasing transparent birds with sharp, almost cutting edges. The birds symbolise the emotions and inner experiences that, though invisible, can unsettle our personal balance.
Tempered architectural glass is not only a technical choice: its strength becomes a metaphor for the resilience gained through hardship. The crystals catch and scatter the light, so the work changes with every point of view.
The work speaks of inner liberation, when vulnerability becomes strength and transformation.
Materials used:
Tempered architectural glass, crystals, acrylic birds
Details:
- Mixed-media painting on Other
- One of a kind artwork
- Size: 100 x 70 x 7cm
- Ready to hang
