Original artwork description
Let It Go #2 grew from a simple thought: sometimes the hardest thing is not holding on, but allowing life to keep moving.
This textured circular abstract painting explores the quiet moment when resistance begins to soften. Flowing forms spread across the surface like currents of air, water, or an abstract landscape shaped by time, suggesting that change rarely happens all at once. Instead, it unfolds gradually through small movements that reshape us over time.
Created with acrylic and natural sand, the painting develops through layered tones of soft grey, blue-grey, and white. Its tactile surface catches the light throughout the day, revealing subtle variations in texture, depth, and movement that invite a slower, more contemplative way of looking.
Rather than describing a specific place, the work reflects an inner landscape—a space where thoughts settle, emotions find their own rhythm, and what once felt heavy slowly becomes part of a wider horizon.
For me, letting go is not about forgetting. It is about making space for something new while carrying forward everything that has quietly shaped us.
Its calming palette and atmospheric presence make the work a natural addition to contemporary interiors, bringing texture, balance, and quiet depth to a space.
