Antonino Puliafico’s "Le ultime luci" is an original oil painting on canvas in which architecture, urban rhythm and shifting light are reinterpreted through a contemporary, tactile language. Measuring 95 × 95 cm and dated 2025, the work balances immediate visual impact with close-range surface detail.
Through palette knife and impasto, Puliafico lets colour accumulate, break apart and reconnect across a visibly worked surface.
This fiery twilight cityscape glows with Puliafico’s signature palette-knife energy. Volcanic crimsons and cobalt-night blues whirl overhead, converging in a spiral sun that sinks behind an imagined skyline.
