I painted this work, one could say, by looking out of my window. The postman on his bicycle was turning the corner of the house on a cloudy autumn day. This became the subject of the painting. The scene is simple and everyday. It conveys the coziness of an autumn day and the rhythm of daily life.
The work is small in size. It is covered with varnish. The edges are left white, like the canvas itself.
