A quiet lake seen through mist and light—the space breathes peace and the slow passage of time. Translucent layers of color create a sense of depth and reflection, as if the boundary between water, air, and inner state almost disappears.
The painting evokes the sense of a mysterious body of water, concealed amidst light, mist and vertical rhythms reminiscent of a forest, rain or reflections. The central oval shape is perceived as a lake, a portal or a space of inner depth into which the gaze seems to be drawn.
