This is a landscape somewhere between a real place and a half-remembered dream. Stones lie beneath blue water, a pink cliff glows in the distance, and thin trails of light drift across the surface as though they have a life of their own. I wanted the place to feel almost tangible, yet slightly beyond reach. Simplified shapes and broad passages of colour give it a quiet, surreal atmosphere, where the familiar slowly slips into the imaginary.
