This is a charcoal drawing on quality drawing paper. Drawing with willow charcoal is difficult because the sticks are thick and you can hardly control the line.
But the spontaneity of this technique is magical.
I wanted to emphasize dazzling liveliness of the petals, that is why I created dark backgrounds.
The drawing is protected with professional fixativ against smudging.
