The devilish couple—the cruel tyrant Satan/Samael and his wife, the red-haired harlot Lilith—rule Hell and the world. On dark nights, the young and beautiful goddess of the New Moon emerges from a magical lake, wearing a diadem of swan wings and white, casting off her fishtail in the reeds along the shore. The river and its wooded banks are bathed in the light of the moon at its hour of greatest activity. This phenomenon is reflected in a magic mirror held by a cruel Demon—a warrior and usurping ruler. He has already set his sights on the new toy, pondering how to secure the beautiful maiden for his underground harem. Beside Satan appears a shaggy and enraged Lilith, glaring furiously at her rival, clearly not sharing her husband's plans. This expression and eyes reflect the full range of frantic emotions of a woman who, at an unimaginable cost, in a merciless struggle, has gained what she thought was supremacy, only to see all her efforts so easily shattered, and that Satan has no empathy, loyalty, decency, or affection, and that nothing is lawful to Him. Forgetting for a moment that she is the Queen of Hell herself, Lilith loses control of herself from fear and humiliation, because the Devil's heart will never belong to her. The Moon Goddess has not yet been captured, and fearlessly flaunts her domain, free to do as she pleases.
