Jazz Night (2026) Original Acrylic Painting by Paul Cheng

I wanted to capture a moment of musical dialogue between piano and saxophone in an intimate jazz lounge, letting the warmth of the music flow through light and shadow. Deep browns and glowing reds establish the evening mood, while bright, economical brushstrokes define the musicians, piano keys, and reflections on the saxophone. Freely scattered paint echoes the rhythms of improvisation, bringing movement to the quiet atmosphere.
