Watercolour and ink, originally for This is Paris, 1959. This is the children’s amusement park in the Bois de Boulogne, western Paris, opened by Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte in 1860. Here we have a miniature road system for children, and until 2008, it was operated – as shown here – by a real Parisian policeman.

This print is authorised for publication by the artist's Estate and has a seal of authenticity embossed onto the white paper margin. It is from a limited edition of 850 and is hand-numbered and hand-embossed. This print has a typed caption running along its paper border. The caption indicates permission and authorisation from the artist's Estate, and from the museum or gallery holding the work. The caption will be concealed by a mount when the print is framed.
