January IV (2018) Original Oil Painting by Kimbal Bumstead

In January 2018 I began a series of works on paper, each one being named after the month they were made in. I like to think of my paintings as a kind of antithesis to what is going on around me. So there is nothing bleak about my January series!
The work is made using Varnish and Oil on paper, and is framed and mounted on a float in a box frame.
The work is signed on the back of the paper itself and also on the back of the frame.
