Jangle Mirror (2025) Original Acrylic Painting by Kseniia Turik

89 x 146 x 3cm (unframed)

£3,902.17

Jangle Mirror began with an obsession — the way a jungle can feel like a mirror. Not reflecting your face, but your state of mind. Dense, vivid, completely alive.
I built the surface layer by layer in acrylic, then sealed the whole canvas in a thick coat of epoxy resin. The resin is what makes this painting behave like water. It catches the light, holds it, releases it slowly. Greens shift from electric chartreuse to almost black. Cobalt blues flash through the foliage. Silver streaks move across the surface like rain still falling.
Standing in front of it, you do not look at a painting — you look into a space that seems to breathe. The reflection in the resin finish changes with every hour of daylight, every lamp switched on, every person walking past. The work is never the same twice.
Format: 146 × 89 cm, vertical. Acrylic on canvas, sealed in epoxy resin. Signed on the back, stretched on a solid wooden frame, ready to hang. Certificate of authenticity included.
This is a statement piece for a tall wall with good natural light — a living room with high ceilings, an entrance hall, a staircase landing. It pairs especially well with warm wood, natural stone, and full-height windows. Works equally in contemporary and classical architectural settings.
